Job Overview:

We are seeking a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in statutory audit during articleship to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • \Audit Planning
    • Developing comprehensive audit plans addressing scope, audit objectives, budgeted hours, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines
    • Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential audit areas
  • \Audit Execution
    • Successfully completing assigned audits, ensuring all audit objectives are met, and conducting regular client and status meetings
    • Monitoring and controlling audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring adequate support for conclusions
  • \Efficiency Improvement
    • Reviewing assignments for improving efficiency, managing audit time and resources effectively
    • Ensuring all findings and issues are documented, and performing closedown procedures
  • \Information Gathering and Compilation
    • Gathering and compiling relevant information and data
  • \Communication and Relationship Building
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills
    • Maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • \Recommendations and Analysis
    • Providing recommendations for strengthening controls and processes
    • Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change, with strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
  • \Regulatory Knowledge
    • Solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act
