Java Backend Developer Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for experienced Java developers to leverage their technical expertise in designing and developing scalable backend applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java (8/11), Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, with proven experience in microservices development. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with PL/SQL for database programming and a working knowledge of Git commands and version control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
  • Build and manage microservices-based architectures for scalable applications.
  • Work with PL/SQL for backend database operations, queries, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Manage code repositories using Git (clone, fetch, commit, push, merge, rebase, tags, branches).
  • Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and deliver business requirements.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Core Java (8/11), Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
  • Proven experience in microservices development.
  • Hands-on experience with PL/SQL for database programming.
  • Working knowledge of Git commands and version control practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Exposure to modern development tools and CI/CD practices.
