Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for validating new power stage and control design implementations on application boards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate new power stage and control design implementations on application boards.
  • Characterize multiphase power management IC to meet Intel and AMD VR specifications.
  • Verify new chip-sets and VR solutions for customer applications.
  • Test customer application evaluation boards.
  • Support the applications engineering team in product development.
  • Develop the Test Automation script using Python.

Requirements:

  • Masters' or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Power Electronics converter.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic switching power supplies and topologies.
  • Good knowledge of passive, active components and simple analog/digital circuits.
  • Experience in using lab equipment including DMM, Oscilloscope, Function Generator and Network Analyzer.
  • Experience in soldering SMT components.
  • Good computing skill in using Microsoft Office Programs to generate test report.
  • Familiar with Schematic Capture and PCB layout software is a plus.
  • Experience in Python to develop Automation script for testing.
