Job Title: Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Data Architecture: Design and implement robust data architecture to support real-time access to data.
  • Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain high-performance data platforms using cloud technologies.
  • Data Quality: Ensure high-quality data by implementing data validation and quality control mechanisms.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Hands-on experience: Python programming language, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), data storage technologies (Delta Lakes/Iceberg).
  • Strong technical skills: SQL query implementation, database concepts, REST APIs development.
  • Good communication skills: Able to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Spark & SQL technologies: Experience working with Spark and SQL technologies.
  • Cloud development: Exposure to cloud development with Azure and/or AWS.
  • Modern solutions: Experience building modern solutions using Kafka data streaming and cloud-native technologies.
