Pharmaceutical Procurement Leader Position

The Pharmaceutical Procurement Lead will spearhead the development and execution of a centralized procurement strategy for pharmaceutical products across multiple hospital locations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical procurement, preferably within hospital/healthcare settings, and possess strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies
- Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to ensure optimal pricing and service levels
- Overseeing inventory management and supply chain operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and quality control measures to safeguard patient safety
- Preparing and presenting procurement reports and analytics to inform business decisions
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field (desired)
- At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, preferably in hospital/healthcare settings
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with ability to interpret data and present insights effectively
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements, with ability to apply expertise to drive business outcomes
Reporting structure includes:
- Reports directly to Operations Head
- Leads a team of 3-5 members, comprising procurement executives, warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators
Location: Centralized facility with regular visits to hospital sites.
