Tehnical Project Manager Role Overview

The Tehnical Project Manager is a pivotal role in our global Tech Ops PMO team, responsible for providing end-to-end project management support for client implementations.

This includes supporting colleagues across departments with scoping and understanding the requirements to be managed, designing elements of project management, and providing support to clients and colleagues through the implementation of a project.

  • Project Planning and Management: Developing a working knowledge of Talogy solutions and platforms, working with clients and colleagues to develop project "scope of work" plans and documentation, leading planning sessions to build consensus among project team members, developing detailed project plans, and preparing project reports for project status meetings.
  • Issue Monitoring and Communication: Identifying, tracking, monitoring, and communicating on project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of projects.
  • Liaison and Relationship Management: Acting as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and other external stakeholders, maintaining strong customer relationships, and handling questions, concerns, feedback, etc., with speed, accuracy, friendliness, and professionalism.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation: Following processes around documentation of client work and interactions, utilizing client relationship management and project management tools such as Salesforce and OpenAir.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a project management environment is required.
  • Education/certification in project management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using web-based project management software, e.g. MS Project, Jira etc.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.
  • Demonstrable evidence of being able to collaborate effectively with others, multitask, and prioritize workloads for self and others.
