Lead Mobile App Developer

As a Lead Mobile App Developer, you will oversee the end-to-end development of our mobile stock trading platform using Flutter. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly application.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead a team of Flutter developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • App Development: Architect, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable stock trading mobile application using Flutter, ensuring low-latency performance for real-time market data.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services (e.g., stock exchange APIs, payment gateways like Razorpay).
  • UI/UX Implementation: Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI/UX that aligns with SEBIs usability and accessibility guidelines.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize app performance for high-frequency trading, ensuring minimal latency and efficient memory usage.
  • Security Implementation: Ensure robust security measures, including end-to-end encryption, secure API authentication (OAuth 2.0), and compliance with SEBIs cybersecurity framework.
  • Cross-Platform Delivery: Develop and maintain a single codebase for iOS and Android, ensuring consistent performance across devices.
  • Agile Development: Lead sprint planning, task estimation, and delivery in an Agile environment, using tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with Flutter advancements and fintech trends, integrating features like real-time charts, push notifications, and biometric authentication.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to implement automated testing (unit, integration, and UI tests) to ensure app reliability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the app adheres to SEBI regulations, KYC norms, and data privacy laws (e.g., DPDP Act 2023).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years of mobile app development experience, with at least 3 years in Flutter development and 1+ years in a lead or senior developer role.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in Dart and Flutter framework, with experience building complex, scalable applications.
  • Strong understanding of state management (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, BLoC).
  • Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and integrating third-party SDKs (e.g., Firebase, TradingView, or payment gateways).
  • Familiarity with mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and debugging tools (e.g., Flutter DevTools).
  • Fintech Experience: Prior experience building financial or stock trading apps is highly preferred, with knowledge of real-time data handling and secure transactions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a development team, manage project timelines, and mentor junior developers.
  • Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Tools: Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise), and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
