Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Strategist to join our team at ValueLabs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and controls based on ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, CCPA, PDPA, and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain ISMS policies, procedures, and controls in line with industry security and privacy standards.
  • Evaluate business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) frameworks to ensure alignment with security best practices.
  • Conduct regular business impact analyses (BIAs) to identify potential scenarios that may impact service continuity.
  • Investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities to identify root causes and implement effective measures.
  • Support data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and ensure privacy risk mitigation by performing risk assessments at the enterprise level, critical clients, and vendors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, data protection, privacy laws, risk management, incident management, etc.
  • Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CIPM (preferred).
Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 Type 2, NIST implementation, and audits. They should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
