Senior SAP HANA Database Administrator

 

The successful candidate will oversee the architecture, stability, and performance of SAP systems in a mission-critical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams for project implementation and issue resolution.
  • Participate in high availability and disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Maintain documentation, operation manuals, and system architecture diagrams.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with SAP systems on Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP on Cloud.
  • SAP Certifications (SAP BASIS, HANA, or OS/DB Migration) are a plus.

 

Job Summary:

 

This is a highly experienced SAP BASIS HANA DBA role that oversees the architecture, stability, and performance of SAP systems in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SAP HANA, BASIS administration, and leadership experience in managing large SAP landscapes and guiding cross-functional teams.

 

About the Role:

 

The candidate should be able to administer and manage SAP systems, perform SAP HANA database administration, backup, recovery, and replication, install, upgrade, and patch SAP and HANA components, monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and apply tuning measures, manage system copies, client copies, transport, and system refresh activities, ensure system security, including role/user administration and SAP Note implementation, lead SAP upgrade and migration projects, plan and perform system migrations, collaborate with functional and technical teams, participate in high availability and disaster recovery planning and testing, maintain documentation, operation manuals, and system architecture diagrams, and possess strong experience with SAP systems on Linux and Windows platforms, good understanding of cloud platforms, and SAP Certifications.
