Oracle Middleware Administrator

This position entails overseeing and maintaining middleware applications, ensuring seamless functionality. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and managing WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Middleware Administration: Install, configure, and manage WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to middleware applications in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor the performance of middleware platforms to identify areas for improvement.
  • Upgrades and Patches: Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary to ensure middleware applications remain up-to-date.

In addition to middleware expertise, this role requires leveraging AWS Cloud services and DevOps practices. This includes developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for middleware applications, working knowledge of Docker, Terraform scripting, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc. Strong understanding of automation, database management, and good communication skills are also essential.

Requirements:
  • AWS or Similar Cloud Implementation Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud implementation is a must.
  • Cloud Operational Support: Ability to provide support for cloud-based operations.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
  • Automation Experience: Experience with automation tools and techniques.
  • Database Knowledge/Experience: Strong understanding of database management principles and practices.
