Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer I - Front End to join our team. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using various web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript or AngularJS or Angular or ReactJS and other web server technologies.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop innovative software solutions that meet requirements, promote re-use of software components and facilitate ease of support. You will also diagnose and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices, utilize software-based system maintenance and tracking tools, provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials and customer training, conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional/nonfunctional requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ Year of related experience with Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong Web development skills using HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript or AngularJS or Angular or ReactJS and other web server technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business and technical requirements
  • Ability to document the requirements inform of word document and/or UML diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, Should be proficient in Japanese (spoken and written) – bilingual candidates preferred, Can effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and candidates
