Job Title: Power BI Developer

Aptimized seeks a skilled professional to support enterprise data initiatives from an offshore location. This role combines data engineering and reporting solutions, ensuring timely and accurate insights for business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, with the capability of building scalable data pipelines while developing high-quality dashboards and reports that facilitate better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering & Reporting Development:
    • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
    • Implement data models tailored for reporting purposes.
    • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic layers.
    • Ensure reports and dashboards adhere to governance, security, and performance best practices.
    • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Data Engineering & Integration:
    • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
    • Collaborate with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
    • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
    • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Collaboration & Offshore Delivery:
    • Work closely with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Provide status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
    • Collaborate with offshore team members to maintain consistent coding standards and best practices.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.
