We are seeking a Technical Writer with at least 3 years of experience for a full-time hybrid role at AppZen. Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software concepts, architectures, and processes, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create user guides, how-to guides, and FAQs to support our software products.
- Review and improve existing technical documentation to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and validate technical details.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience writing software documentation.
- Strong understanding of software concepts, architectures, and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on grammar, technical accuracy, and consistency.
- Ability to effectively manage time and workload.
- Ability to collaborate with Cross Functional Teams.
- Experience with single source authoring tools such as Madcap Flare.
- Experience with image capture tools such as Snagit.
