Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Director of Finance.

This role is critical in supporting the growth and development of our company. As a senior-most hire in finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial activities.

You will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and investors to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What You'll Do
  1. Own and execute all financial operations like payroll processing, vendor payouts and collections (accounts receivables).
  2. Oversee and ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  4. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  5. Oversee cash management, including monitoring cash flow and optimizing working capital.
  6. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
  7. Support fundraising efforts, including developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  8. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
  9. Drive operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.
  10. Oversee completion of statutory audit from a big 4 audit firm.
