The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services, databases, data services, and distributed systems, with experience managing complex, cross-organizational programs. You will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and technical trade-offs, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and a well-rounded technical background.

This is a hands-on role that requires you to work closely with our engineering teams to plan, direct, and manage the execution of our cloud infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for defining project scopes, planning and directing schedules, organizing and leading project status and working meetings, preparing and distributing progress reports, managing risks and issues, and performing delivery planning for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of our cloud infrastructure services
  • Manage complex, cross-organizational programs
  • Develop and maintain high-level technical designs and architectures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, direct, and manage the execution of our cloud infrastructure projects
  • Define project scopes, plan and direct schedules, and organize project status and working meetings
  • Prepare and distribute progress reports, manage risks and issues, and perform delivery planning for assigned projects

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a hands-on technical project or program manager, preferably in a related industry
  • Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services
  • Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services

Bonus Requirements:

  • 10+ years of project management, product design or related experience
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (MS Preferred)

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
