About the Role:

The Head of Quality Assurance is responsible for leading our quality team in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

This role drives continuous improvement in quality processes, oversees quality audits, and maintains compliance with relevant industry standards.

  • Develop and implement an effective QMS aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable standards.
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, reviewing and communicating their impact on quality activities.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of quality engineers and inspectors, setting performance goals and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategies to assess, evaluate, and improve customer & supplier quality.
  • Plan implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to improve quality and efficiency across production processes.
  • Oversee regular audits (internal and external) of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and suppliers to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Address customer complaints, warranty issues, and ensure prompt CAPA submission. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve their performance.
  • Establish quality processes for new products, including trial runs and successful product implementation.
  • Implement statistical process control (SPC), mistake-proofing techniques, and other quality tools.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as internal rejection rates, customer complaints, audit results, and quality improvement project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular process audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs.

- Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify trends and take proactive measures to address quality concerns.

- Oversee corrective actions for non-conformities and ensure preventive actions are in place to avoid recurrence.

- Continuously assess the team's performance and provide constructive feedback. Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).

- 15-20 years of experience in quality management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role from the Automotive Industry.

- Certifications: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Six Sigma, Internal Auditor or relevant quality certifications.
