This role is responsible for providing exceptional sales services to end-users, ensuring competitive offers considering market conditions and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial automation systems and be able to develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trends and identifying potential new service portfolios.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Sales Professional to join our team in Coimbatore, Chennai, or Bangalore. As a key member of our Robotics & Discrete Automation business area, you will be accountable for selling services such as spare parts, training, AMC, and installation audits to end-users. You will also track and penetrate into IB, promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to benefit customers and B&R.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Selling services such as spare parts, training, AMC, and installation audits to end-users.
  • Tracking and penetrating into IB, promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to benefit customers and B&R.
  • Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trends and identifying potential new service portfolios.
  • Applying a high level of business acumen, including understanding customer business drivers, industry trends, economic factors, and competition.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics from well-known universities. You should also have 2-4 years of sales experience within the Indian business environment, preferably in multinational companies. Work experience in B&R or competitor Automation systems is a must, like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control, and robotic systems. Additionally, knowledge of Mechatronics systems like Linear Transport System, Vision, Robots are added advantages. Industry-Specific Knowledge: Experience in the Industries and utility segments is also required. Fluency in English, speaking, listening, reading, and writing is essential, with flexibility to travel up to 60%.
