We are seeking a talented Senior Overseas Education Counsellor to join our team at ABS International. As a leading provider of student academic services globally, we are committed to empowering Indian students with the knowledge and support needed to pursue their academic dreams overseas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising prospective students, building partnerships with educational institutions overseas, and contributing to the overall success of our student recruitment efforts. They will work closely with the County Head in India and the recruitment team based in New Delhi, providing exceptional guidance to ensure the achievement of enrolment goals.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing expert guidance to prospective students on educational programs, admissions processes, and career pathways;
  • Building relationships with educational institutions, agencies, and key stakeholders to enhance recruitment channels;
  • Collaborating with external partners to develop joint initiatives and maximise recruitment opportunities;
  • Contributing to the development of comprehensive student recruitment strategies and tactics;
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on market research, industry trends, and competitor analysis;
  • Working closely with overseas partners to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process;
  • Providing training, mentorship, and support to junior consultants to enhance their skills and performance;
  • Representing the company at educational fairs, conferences, and events to promote programs and attract prospective students;
  • Organising and participating in outreach activities to engage with the community and generate interest in our educational offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in student recruitment, preferably within the higher education sector;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiarity with the education landscape in India and an understanding of international student recruitment trends;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the overseas recruitment environment.
