Job Title: Advanced Network Security Specialist

Location: Anantapur, India

Shift Time: UK Shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with existing customers through regular verbal and written interactions.
  • Provide high-level technical support for complex customer queries and escalate issues from the second-line service desk as needed.
  • Effectively manage and resolve support tickets related to incidents, changes, and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Head of 3rd Line Network Support to plan and execute assigned projects.
  • Document customer solutions in the CMDB, Visio documentation, and technical summary reports.
  • Conduct thorough DR/Failover Testing to ensure business continuity.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
  • Supply necessary resources to the solution delivery team for new customer project configuration and implementation.
  • Participate in an on-call rota out of hours for high-priority incidents.
Required Expertise
  • Demonstrate expertise at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT level.
  • Hold advanced knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting network security devices/protocols.
  • Be able to analyze and troubleshoot faults to identify root causes and implement resolutions.
  • Have extensive knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols.
  • Experience using at least one of the following firewalls: Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco ASA.
  • Include experience of configuring and troubleshooting access lists, NAT, IPSec, and SSL VPNs.
  • Strong understanding of OSPF and BGP in an ISP environment.
  • Proficient in packet capture and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with Cloud products such as Azure / Amazon AWS.
  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider Environment.
  • Basic experience with network automation/programming such as Ansible/Python.
