Job Overview

The Project Engineer is a critical role that requires exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

  • Task Management
  • Reviewing drawings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary details are present.
  • Computing the scope of work from drawings, taking into account tonnage, diameter, and square meters.
  • Verifying material transfer orders (MTOs) against drawings and materials received at the yard.
  • Developing project schedules on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
  • Conducting inspections and tests as per plans, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Preparing purchase requisitions for MTOs, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Evaluating proposals from vendors, assessing specifications and quantity requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of materials control charts and reconciling free-issued materials.
  • Managing manpower and equipment at the site, optimizing resource allocation.
Requirements

For this challenging role, we seek candidates with:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, demonstrating expertise and growth.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution, solidifying technical knowledge.
  • Preferably additional qualifications: Diploma in Piping Engineering and Design, enhancing specialized skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, supporting data analysis and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Auto Cad, facilitating design and drafting.
  • ASNT Level II qualifications in RT/UT/MPI and LPT, validating technical proficiency.
