Mendix Platform Manager

A highly skilled Mendix Platform Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of the Mendix platform and its applications within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User and Access Management: Inviting new users, managing user roles and permissions, setting up App Access Groups, and ensuring appropriate access to applications and data. This includes creating user accounts, assigning roles, and configuring access levels.
  • Application Deployment and Monitoring: Deploying new applications, monitoring their performance, and managing the application lifecycle. This involves deploying updates, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the overall health of the applications.
  • Platform Configuration and Maintenance: Configuring settings within the Mendix platform, managing Marketplace content, and ensuring the platform is running smoothly. This includes setting up integrations, managing plugins, and optimizing platform performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Addressing issues related to the platform and applications, working with users and technical teams to resolve problems. This involves diagnosing issues, providing support, and escalating complex problems to senior technical staff.
  • Security Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the platform and its data, including user authentication and authorization. This involves setting up secure connections, managing access controls, and monitoring system logs.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest platform features, security updates, and best practices. This includes attending training sessions, reading industry publications, and participating in online forums.
