IICS Integration Consultant

Integration Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing robust integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Application Integration and Data Integration modules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in API development, cloud integration, and data engineering, along with a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and agile methodology.

1. Design and Develop Integration Solutions: Utilize Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Application Integration and Data Integration modules to design, develop, and implement integration solutions.

2. Participate in SDLC Process: Participate in the complete software development life cycle (SDLC) process, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

3. Develop Custom APIs: Develop and manage custom APIs for handling large data volumes, with knowledge of pagination techniques.

4. Work with Apigee: Work with Apigee for API development, management, and security implementation.

5. Implement API Protocols: Implement and manage API protocols such as OAuth and JWT, including policy enforcement.

6. Apply Best Practices: Apply best practices for API design principles and standards.

7. Integrate with Multiple Data Sources: Integrate with multiple data sources using various cloud connectors.

8. Utilize Integration Protocols: Utilize integration protocols and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML.

9. Conduct Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and ETL processes.

10. Work with Cloud Platforms: Work with cloud platforms such as Azure Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, and GCP.

11. Leverage Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Lake Environments: Leverage experience in Data Warehousing and Data Lake environments.

12. Perform Data Modeling: Perform data modeling (preferred).

13. Develop and Maintain Shell Scripts: Develop and maintain shell scripts and execute UNIX/Linux commands.

14. Manage ETL Job Scheduling: Manage ETL job scheduling using tools such as Autosys (preferred).

15. Work with DevOps Pipelines and GIT: Work with DevOps pipelines and GIT for version control.

16. Collaborate in Agile Project Environments: Collaborate in Agile project environments.

• Proven Experience in IICS Application Integration & Data Integration: Proven experience in IICS Application Integration & Data Integration.

• Strong API Development Skills: Strong API development skills, including handling bulk data and pagination.

• Hands-on Experience with Apigee and API Security Protocols: Hands-on experience with Apigee and API security protocols (OAuth, JWT).

• Proficiency in REST, JSON, XML Integration: Proficiency in REST, JSON, XML integration.

• Strong SQL Skills: Strong SQL skills with proven ETL performance tuning expertise.

• Experience with Azure, GCP, Databricks, PySpark: Experience with Azure, GCP, Databricks, PySpark.

• Familiarity with Cloud Connectors and Integrating Diverse Data Sources: Familiarity with cloud connectors and integrating diverse data sources.

• Shell Scripting and UNIX/Linux Command Expertise: Shell scripting and UNIX/Linux command expertise.
