Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned robotics expert to spearhead the design, development, and testing of advanced robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative prototypes for robotics systems.
  • Analyze complex product design issues using critical judgment.
  • Create software systems in line with project requirements and defined architecture.
  • Estimate coding time and resources for project support.
  • Generate and review relevant documents to support the project (requirements/design/architecture/bugs/test).

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success as a leader.
  • Support and execute key aspects of complex product development to advance projects through the design/development/launch process.
  • Contribute to product development from concept through release.
  • Demonstrate exceptional results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities.
  • Design, develop, modify, evaluate, and verify software components for medical devices.
  • In code reviews apply design principles, coding standards, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming Skills:
    • Familiarity with C++ 17 and its versions.
    • Knowledge of QT (5,6) framework.
  • Design and Development Expertise:
    • Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDE) for projects.
    • Familiarity with tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage, and techniques for analyzing software.
    • Knowledge in integration and deployment processes using Git and Perforce.
  • Software Process Expertise:
    • Software Development Life Cycle processes.
    • Ability to create estimates for code implementation time/resource for assigned tasks and projects.
    • Experience from using Application Lifecycle Management/Traceability tools.
    • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or related discipline & 4+ years of work experience.
