Are you a results-driven leader seeking a challenging role in the production sector? As an experienced Production Manager, you will play a pivotal part in driving our manufacturing unit's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all production activities on the shop floor to guarantee timely output and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Oversee job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Develop and execute layout plans for new lines/projects, including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations.
  • Manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records to ensure seamless operations.
  • Optimize in-process inventory management and maintain efficient flow across the production chain.
  • Collaborate with R&D and design teams for smooth onboarding of new products and structure types.
  • Monitor production costs and resource utilization to meet predefined goals and timeline objectives.
  • Enforce compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and best practices.
  • Promote lean manufacturing principles, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.
  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows.
