Oracle SOA Integration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle SOA integration specialist to join our team of experts. As an independent consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Oracle SOA Suite integrations with EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST).

  • This role requires 7+ years of technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite with a strong focus on HRMS.
  • You must have proven expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) as well as strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL, APIs, RICE components, and Advanced SQL/PLSQL.
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve integration/technical issues independently with minimal support.

In this role, you will work on Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, OLMS, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, Loans, Advanced Benefits) and build and maintain interfaces integrating EBS HRMS with third-party systems, ensuring protocol compliance (SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and support Oracle SOA Suite integrations with EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  2. Deliver synchronous, asynchronous, and bulk (batch posting) integrations, including JSON/XML-based solutions.
  3. Perform independent testing of integrations using SOAP/REST and structured methodologies.
  4. Develop and customize RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) using PL/SQL, APIs, and Unix shell scripts.
  5. Work on Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, OLMS, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, Loans, Advanced Benefits).
  6. Build and maintain interfaces integrating EBS HRMS with third-party systems, ensuring protocol compliance (SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP).
  7. Support data migration activities ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
  8. Identify and map configurational data, navigation screens, and backend tables, establishing relationships across scattered data entities.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve integration/technical issues independently with minimal support.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite with strong HRMS focus.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL, APIs, RICE components, and Advanced SQL/PLSQL.
  • Extensive experience with integration protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, FTP, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with HRMS data structures and backend navigation.
  • Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with functional teams in a freelance/remote setup.
