Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Destination Experience Manager to join our team at Chitkara University. This role will be responsible for designing, planning, and customizing travel itineraries for clients, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Itinerary Planning: The successful candidate will design, plan, and customize travel itineraries for clients, taking into account their preferences and requirements, resulting in increased client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Supplier Management: This position involves collaborating with airlines, hotels, transport services, and other travel partners to secure bookings, negotiate rates, and ensure cost-effective travel solutions, maximizing the value of each trip.
- Client Communication: As a key member of our team, you will address client inquiries, provide travel assistance, and resolve operational issues efficiently, responding to customer needs in a timely and professional manner, enhancing the overall travel experience.
- Document Management: Ensure all travel documents (visas, tickets, insurance) are arranged and meet regulatory requirements, adhering to industry standards and best practices, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance.
- Operational Logistics: You will manage bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and amendments to travel plans, coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders as needed, ensuring seamless execution of trips.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate with suppliers for best rates and ensure cost-effective travel solutions, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, optimizing travel budgets.
- Software Utilization: Work with in-house travel management software to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall travel experience, staying ahead of the competition.
- Performance Monitoring: Prepare operational reports, analyze customer feedback, and improve service standards, identifying areas for growth and development, driving business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel Planning: Plan and execute complex travel itineraries for clients, including flights, accommodations, and activities.
- Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating rates and contracts to ensure the best possible deals.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage travel documentation, coordinate logistics, and perform administrative tasks as required.
