Key Security Professional Role

Job Description:

We seek an experienced and proactive security specialist to design, implement, and manage security tools and infrastructure to protect our systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing and managing security controls to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Monitoring systems and networks for potential security breaches and investigating violations.
  • Performing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to ensure the security posture of the organization.
  • Responding to security incidents and leading incident response activities.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to implement security best practices and secure software development life cycles.
  • Managing firewalls, antivirus, EDR, SIEM, DLP, and IDS/IPS tools to maintain a robust security environment.
  • Maintaining documentation related to security architecture, incidents, and processes.
  • Conducting security awareness training for staff and developers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of security fundamentals, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Experience with scripting or automation.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in cybersecurity.
  • Experience with cloud security.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and container security.
