Job Summary

A long-term remote opportunity is available for a seasoned data integration professional with 6+ years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes, reports, and database solutions using SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise to deliver high-quality code, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Kanban environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development & Maintenance
    • Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages for complex ETL workflows (data extraction, transformation, loading).
    • Create and optimize SSRS reports with interactive dashboards, drill-downs, and parameterized features.
    • Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server databases.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL processes and reports.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
    • Work closely with the Onshore Coordinator and Offshore Lead to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Document code, data mappings, and technical specifications in Confluence/Jira.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Quality Assurance & Innovation
    • Perform unit testing and support QA teams to ensure defect-free deliverables.
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, self-service reporting).
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., Snowflake, API integrations, cloud migrations).
    Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
    • Exposure to Snowflake, Power BI, or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
    Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, ETL Tools) preferred.
    • Experience in financial, healthcare, or telecom domains is advantageous.
