Job Title: IT Director
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT professional to oversee our entire IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, with a proven track record of managing office setups, supporting end-users, maintaining hardware/software systems, and ensuring data security compliance.
Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Plan, implement, and manage company-wide IT infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime, scalability, and performance.
- Office Setup and Maintenance:
- Lead the complete IT setup for new office locations including internet connectivity, LAN/WAN configurations, server and workstation installations, printer/scanner setup, and IT asset procurement.
- Technical Support & Helpdesk Oversight:
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support to internal users, manage tickets, and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Network Administration:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices (routers, firewalls, switches) to ensure secure and stable network connectivity across departments.
- Asset and Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensure proper tracking, warranty renewals, AMC contracts, and periodic audits.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, AMC, ISP support, and managed services.
- Data Security and Compliance:
- Ensure cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, antivirus, backup strategies, and data protection policies are strictly implemented and followed.
- Software and License Management:
- Manage installation, configuration, and updates of business software; monitor license usage and renewals.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and issue resolution logs. Generate regular IT performance reports for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments
- Hands-on experience with networking tools and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365/Google Workspace administration
- Knowledge of IT asset management tools and ticketing systems
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools, firewalls, and backup solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead small IT teams
