Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of financial planning and analysis.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow with us and take on new challenges.

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage a team of financial planners, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee and review financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, contract analysis, consolidated reporting, and benchmarking.
  • Guide the preparation of business plans, management information systems (MIS) decks, key performance indicator (KPI) reports, and board presentation materials.
  • Supervise research briefs on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), compliance, industry benchmarks, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and funding deals.
  • Automate and optimize financial planning and analysis processes, controls, and reporting using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered accountant (CA) with additional qualifications such as certified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant (CMA), chartered financial analyst (CFA), or master of business administration (MBA) preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience with at least 3+ years in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including proven team leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting.
  • Expertise in analytical techniques, Excel, Power BI, and automation of FP&A activities in sync with development teams.
  • Experience in preparing business plans, MIS/KPI reports, and research briefs on finance-related topics.
  • Familiarity with GAAP, compliance, and industry benchmarking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience working with senior management and international teams.
