Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Accountant to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, publishing financial statements, handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely bank payments, computing taxes, and preparing tax returns. They should also be able to manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, report on the company s financial health and liquidity, audit financial transactions and documents, and reinforce financial data confidentiality by conducting database backups when necessary. Additionally, they must comply with financial policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting transactions including journal entries, ledger entries, and account finalization.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial reports to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.
• Publish financial statements and reports in time to meet regulatory requirements.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage cash flow effectively.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns to minimize tax liabilities.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to provide insights into the company's financial health.
• Report on the company s financial health and liquidity to stakeholders.
• Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality by conducting database backups when necessary.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Sr Accountant in manufacturing industry.
• Expertise in GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, RTGS, and other financial regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of financial policies and regulations.
