Job Description

Job Title: 3D Generalist Junior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 3D Generalist Junior to join our team at Nitrodynamics. As a 3D Generalist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual effects using Blender and Maya.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create detailed and realistic 3D models, characters, objects, and environments using Blender and Maya.
  2. Develop animations, including rigging, skinning, and keyframe animation.
  3. Apply textures, materials, and shaders to 3D models to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
  4. Optimize textures and materials for various platforms and purposes.
  5. Setup lighting, shadows, and rendering parameters to produce high-quality renders.
  6. Optimize rendering settings for efficiency without compromising quality.
  7. Create visual effects, particle systems, simulations, and dynamics to enhance 3D images and videos.
  8. Implement physics-based simulations for realistic effects.
  9. Optimize 3D images and videos for performance, considering file size, poly count, and memory usage.
  10. Ensure compatibility and functionality across multiple platforms and devices.
  11. Work closely with art directors, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
  12. Communicate and collaborate effectively to achieve project goals.
  13. Utilize advanced features and tools within Blender and Maya to achieve desired results.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements.
  15. Ensure the final 3D images and videos meet the highest quality standards, including visual appeal, accuracy, and functionality.

Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation techniques.
  2. Solid understanding of 3D asset optimization and best practices.
  3. Creative and detail-oriented with a strong eye for aesthetics.
  4. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  6. Bachelor's degree in computer graphics, animation, or related field.
  7. Professional certifications in the relevant field.
  8. Proven experience as a 3D Generalist with expertise in Blender and Maya, with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D models, animations, and visual effects.
