We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist Lead to join our Biobanking & Cardiovascular Sciences team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and compliance of our hospital's biorepository, ensuring high-quality specimen processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Manage daily operations of the biorepository, including specimen receipt, processing, cataloging, storage, and retrieval.
- Evaluate and implement regulatory standards (FDA, GLP, GMP, HIPAA, GDPR) and maintain high-quality biosafety protocols.
- Oversee and troubleshoot lab equipment such as freezers, refrigerators, and environmental monitoring systems.
- Develop and implement SOPs, QA/QC programs, and optimize lab workflows for efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on experience in biorepository/laboratory management, including sample processing and quality control. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (FDA, GMP, GCP, HIPAA, GDPR) is also essential.
