Cloud Data Engineer Role

Are you a skilled data engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Do you have experience with big data technologies and a passion for building scalable and efficient data systems?

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing data pipelines, processing large datasets, and ensuring the security and integrity of our data.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on big data technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, as well as hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for data streaming.
  • Proficient with AWS Services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and good knowledge of SQL and database technologies such as Aurora PostgreSQL or Snowflake.
  • Good knowledge of Python programming and experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools like Jenkins.
  • Unit and integration test automation using Junit and pytest, as well as experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services.
  • An understanding of microservice architecture and twelve factor app patterns, and ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
