Job Summary

Hrizen techno services is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer for Linux BSP to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining device drivers for various hardware components within embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Embedded Software Development:

  • Develop and maintain device drivers for various hardware components within embedded systems.
  • Participate in the porting and bring-up process of Board Support Packages (BSPs) and bootloaders.
  • Develop low-level system software functionalities to support camera product features.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components.

Linux Kernel Expertise:

  • Possess a strong understanding of Linux operating system concepts and internal workings.
  • Experience in customizing and building Linux kernels for embedded systems.
  • Utilize debugging tools and techniques to diagnose and resolve complex software issues within the Linux kernel.

Device Driver Development:

  • Design, develop, and integrate device drivers for various hardware peripherals (e.g, camera sensors, audio codecs, network interfaces).
  • Ensure efficient and reliable communication between hardware and software components.

Media Framework Experience (Preferred):

  • Familiarity with media frameworks like FFmpeg, OpenCV, GStreamer for processing and manipulating multimedia data within the embedded system.
  • Experience in developing media pipelines for handling captured video and audio streams.

Additional Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working on embedded systems based on Qualcomm, Nvidia, Ambarella, Ingenic, Sigmastar, TI, or NXP platforms.
  • Familiarity with audio/video streaming protocols (e.g , RTSP, WebRTC).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills (Required):

  • Excellent proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux application development.
  • Strong understanding of Linux OS concepts and kernel development.
  • Experience in device driver development and integration.
  • Strong debugging skills with experience using relevant tools and techniques.
