Job Title: Infrastructure Reliability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Reliability Expert.

This role involves designing and implementing high availability architectures with failover and recovery mechanisms.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), and microservices architecture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design capacity planning models and work with stakeholders to forecast future scalability requirements.
  • Establish performance baselines, thresholds, and SLAs for critical applications.
  • Implement system reliability and chaos engineering to proactively identify and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and observe system health using tools like Splunk, AppD, Prometheus, Fluentd, ELK, TIG, Dynatrace, and New Relic.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of system reliability, chaos engineering, and concepts of SLI, SLO, SLA.
  • Experience with load testing tools like Jmeter/LoadRunner, APM tools like Dynatrace/RewRelics/AppDynamics, and monitoring tools like Splunk/AppD/Dynatrace/New Relic.
  • Excellent communication and business presentation skills.
