Data Scientist Position

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team.

Job Overview:

We seek a skilled professional with expertise in SQL, Python, and Java, along with exposure to GenAI tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in data extraction, integration, and advanced analysis by leveraging both traditional programming and emerging AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Extraction: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  • ETL Pipelines: Build and maintain ETL pipelines for seamless data integration across systems.
  • Programming Expertise: Apply programming skills in Python and Java for data analysis, automation, and solution development.
  • GenAI Tools: Utilize GenAI tools and LLMs (Large Language Models) for advanced data-driven insights.
  • Prompt Engineering: Develop and refine prompt engineering techniques to generate accurate SQL queries, summarize findings, and enhance analytical workflows.
  • Data Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4–7 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related fields.
  • SQL Expertise: Strong expertise in SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Programming Skills: Hands-on experience with Python and Java for data analysis and application development.
  • ETL Tools: Proven experience with ETL tools and frameworks for data extraction and integration.
  • GenAI Exposure: Exposure to GenAI tools and LLMs for analytics and automation.
  • Prompt Engineering: Ability to apply prompt engineering for generating SQL queries, summarizing outputs, and driving deeper insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Machine Learning: Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data analysis.
