As a Data Engineering professional, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing large-scale data environments that cater to Compliance, Risk, and Financial Services domains.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Work with cloud data platforms, ideally in a Snowflake-based data lakehouse architecture, to create performant data solutions.
  • Develop advanced SQL queries and DAX formulas to analyze and optimize data models in Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and distill technical complexity into actionable solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance by implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering to drive innovation and improve existing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or solution design in Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services domains.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) and advanced SQL, especially with Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
  • Solid understanding of analytics for risk and compliance use cases such as false positive reduction, alert triaging, and investigative workflow analysis.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, ideally in a Snowflake-based data lakehouse architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill technical complexity into business-oriented solutions.
