Chief Technical Draftsperson

The Drafter II is a vital role in our engineering team, responsible for supporting research and development initiatives. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Create and manage new parts, assemblies, and drawings using CAD software
• Maintain accurate documentation records for engineering projects
• Process and implement efficient engineering change requests
• Collaborate with production and other departments on documentation and troubleshooting
• Support mechanical engineers with 3D modeling and drafting for product development
• Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Contribute to the development of mechanical prototypes and samples

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
• Ability to read, interpret, and create drawings with minimal guidance
• Understanding of assembly BOM structure
• Knowledge of GD&T principles
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with ERP software like SAP and data management software
• Exposure to sheet metal, plastic part design, and manufacturing
• Keenness to learn and improve processes
