Job Summary

Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with teams to ensure the stability of IT infrastructure services.
  2. Manage core servers and storage infrastructure services.
  3. Deploy new technologies and change requests successfully.
  4. Identify and resolve issues with servers and storage services.
  5. Mentor team members and work closely with all levels of the team.
  6. Configure and install computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  7. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  8. Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  9. Troubleshoot system and network problems.
  10. Diagnose and solve hardware and software faults.
  11. Escalate tickets to the next level in a timely manner.
  12. Support the deployment of new systems and applications.
  13. Manage multiple open cases simultaneously.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work within a team and provide leadership.
  • Ability to provide recommendations, develop and maintain documentation, and report to the Department Head.
  • Solid experience with Servers, Operating Systems, Desktops, Laptops, and Mobile Devices.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Servers and Storage technologies.
  • Solid working experience in root cause analysis of IT issues and preventive measures.
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (2008 and 2012), Linux Operating Systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
  • Working experience in VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, LDAP, and VoIP, IP Telephony, and PBX systems.
  • Familiarity with Firewall.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Education Qualifications & Experience Level

A Graduate with IT/Computer/Network as primary subjects is required.

Level 2+ Professional Certification in Microsoft/Cisco/VMware/AWS is an added advantage.

8+ years of relevant working experience in the IT services industry is required.
