Job Title: Data Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Integration Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.

This role requires hands-on experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and ensuring data quality. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing analytical insights and collaborating with other teams to support data integration and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Ingestion and Processing: Design and develop scalable data solutions using Python and GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • ETL Pipeline Management: Implement and optimize ETL pipelines using Informatica and other tools to process and transform large datasets.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality by monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to guarantee performance and accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets and insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role; strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning); solid experience with ETL development using Informatica and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in Python programming for data processing and automation; practical experience working with GCP services, especially BigQuery.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills; ability to work in a collaborative team environment; understanding of data governance, data quality, and performance best practices.
Good to Have:
  • Additional Experience: Exposure to MLOps pipelines or integration with machine learning models; knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and their data engineering services; experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
