The HR Associate serves as a key member of the Business Financial Group team, playing a vital role in the management of the entire employee lifecycle. This encompasses recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Indian labor laws, HR best practices, and employee management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining strong working relationships with employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely hiring of top talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, and educational institutions.
- Work closely with recruiters in North American regions to attract and hire the best candidates.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts fairly and consistently, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Promote employee engagement and morale through effective communication and feedback.
- Conduct exit interviews to understand employee turnover and provide valuable insights to management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees working in North American regions.
- Compliance & Labor Law:
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and other statutory requirements, staying up-to-date with changes in regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with laws.
- Collaborate with external legal consultants to address labor law matters and ensure timely implementation of new requirements.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely feedback and goal setting to drive employee growth and development.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans, identifying areas for improvement and providing support for growth.
- Work closely with managers to identify training and development needs, promoting employee skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Experience managing HR processes across multiple regions, particularly North America and India.
- Comprehensive understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements, with a commitment to compliance and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with a focus on promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and HR management software, preferably Zoho Recruit & People.
