About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Recro.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Develop and implement financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial models to inform business decisions.
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts analyzing trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets aligning with company objectives.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Develop and implement effective cash flow management strategies to ensure liquidity and working capital optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Design and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets prevent fraud and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure audit readiness.
- Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a high-performing finance team focusing on continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with HR to develop training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the finance team.
- Financial Analysis & Strategic Support:
- Develop and present detailed financial analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Provide expert advice on financial matters to stakeholders.
- Tax Planning & Optimization:
- Develop and implement tax-planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in financial management and leadership.
- Strong technical skills in financial software and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
