Job Title: Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital lending and product journeys, as well as the ability to apply basic concepts to practical scenarios/issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the dissemination of actionable emanating from new guidelines and ensure implementation by the respective business units.
  • Monitor various issues relating to digital journeys through available systems/tools.
  • Approve or review policies/internal circulars/processes ensuring compliance with regulatory/internal guidelines.
  • Handle advisory related to compliance with regulatory guidelines on digital lending and other related guidelines.
  • Connect with regulators/peer banks to seek clarification/benchmark processes followed in the bank.
  • Test regulations/processes/controls when required.
  • Provide relevant inputs for presentation preparation/dashboard for senior management.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper controls are put in place to mitigate compliance risk.
  • Vet bank policies/manuals/validation of forms from the compliance perspective.
  • Validate internal controls with various codes (BCSBI, etc).
  • Vet responses/compliance to be submitted to regulators/agencies provided by business departments/stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance risk using various tools (e.g. Key Compliance Indicators, etc).
  • Test processes related to observations/regulatory line items of RBI and closure of testing reports.
  • Monitor and track regulatory observations emanating from IAD/CTG/other sources.
  • Approve/review PMC/CMC notes in line with relevant applicable regulations/internal policies.
  • Assist RBI Compliance Team for onsite inspection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of basic processes involved in Digital Lending and Product Journeys.
  • Ability to apply basic concepts to practical scenarios/issues.
  • Understanding of regulations/guidelines.
  • Experience in handling Compliance related to Digital Lending and Products.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PPT.
