About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of AI-powered search and research tools.
Our ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who excels at turning complex datasets into actionable insights.
The role involves owning and managing the data transformation layer using dbt and SQL, designing clean and scalable data models, and maintaining business logic.
You will also be responsible for creating dashboards and visualizations with modern BI tools, collaborating with Product, Business, and R&D teams to surface key insights, and working across Snowflake, MongoDB, and other structured/unstructured sources.
The successful candidate will translate product and GTM questions into data-driven recommendations and support experimentation and A/B testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the data transformation layer using dbt and SQL
- Design clean and scalable data models and maintain business logic
- Create dashboards and visualizations with modern BI tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key insights
- Work across multiple data sources, including Snowflake and MongoDB
- Translate product and GTM questions into data-driven recommendations
- Support experimentation and A/B testing strategies
Requirements:
- 48 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or BI roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Python (pandas, plotly, etc.)
- Experience with BI tools and dashboard creation
- Comfort working with multi-source, messy data
- Great communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally across global teams
- Experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, or equivalent
- Bonus: Familiarity with Airflow, startup experience, or a background in experimentation
