Senior Backend Developer

Our organization is seeking a seasoned backend developer to contribute to the growth of our technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and quality assurance experts to deliver high-quality features and functionality.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and standards.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability through efficient resource allocation and data management.
  • Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless deployments and updates.
  • Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to architecture and processes to drive innovation and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and other programming languages.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in containerization/orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
