Experience the world of venture capital and early-stage investing by joining our team as a Venture Capital Investment Analyst. This role offers hands-on experience with startup evaluation, portfolio company management, and ecosystem engagement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deal Evaluation: Conduct market size analysis, evaluate products/services including technology moats, assess teams, business models, and financials, identify risk factors, and analyze competitive landscapes and funding histories. Prepare detailed investment notes on potential opportunities.
  • Due Diligence: Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence. Coordinate with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • Deal Sourcing: Assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and the startup ecosystem. Screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Portfolio Support: Engage with portfolio companies and assist in preparing updates on the companies. Assist founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Internal Reports & Documentation: Assist in preparing compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Investor Relations: Assist in making presentations for Limited Partners (LPs) as well as investor updates.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • Passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred (though not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
  • An insatiable hunger to learn.
