Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cell Culture Specialist to spearhead the development and implementation of scalable, robust processes for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in one of the following areas: omics technologies, bioprocess modeling, or CFD, and have a strong background in upstream process development.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and characterize scalable processes, while ensuring compliance with GDP principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead Upstream Process Development: Develop, scale-up, and characterize processes for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.
  • Design and Implement Scalable Processes: Design and implement processes that meet product yield and quality requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks during process development and scale-up.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance teams for technical discussions on process development and improvement.
  • Technology Transfer: Participate in technology transfer activities, coordinate with program management, and provide support for regulatory dossiers and filings.
  • Scientific Advancements: Stay updated on the latest scientific advancements and technologies in bioprocessing and statistical analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze upstream data to inform technical decisions and ensure compliance with GDP principles.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Record and review raw data, prepare work presentations, write technical documents, and develop SOPs/IOPs/EOPs.
  • Laboratory Coordination: Coordinate lab activities within and across teams for smooth functioning.

Special Requirements:

  • Expertise: Possess expertise in one of the following areas: omics technologies (metabolomics, metabolic flux analysis), bioprocess modeling (metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactors or cells), or CFD (computational fluid dynamics for bioreactor mixing).
