Job Title: EDI Consultant

The ideal candidate will configure, maintain and troubleshoot electronic data interchange solutions using IBM Sterling for seamless interaction with business partners.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Configure electronic data interchange solutions using IBM Sterling to support efficient data exchange.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot systems to ensure smooth order processing and inventory management.
  • Manage electronic data mapping, translation and communication processes with trading partners.
  • Work with customers and external partners to onboard, test and maintain connections.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to transmission errors and mapping discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or File Gateway.
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic data interchange standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and their integration with electronic data interchange processes.
  • Strong understanding of electronic data interchange mapping, document translation and communication protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
