We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Engineer, Data Scientist.

Job Description:

As a Senior Engineer, Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining performant SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries in Snowflake.

You will work closely with business analysts and domain experts to translate pharmaceutical data requirements into scalable solutions.

Additionally, you will build and optimize ELT pipelines using Snowflake features and external ETL tools, create and maintain data models and data marts to support analytics and reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain performant SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries in Snowflake.
  2. Work closely with business analysts and domain experts to translate pharmaceutical data requirements into scalable solutions.
  3. Build and optimize ELT pipelines using Snowflake features and external ETL tools.
  4. Create and maintain data models and data marts to support analytics and reporting.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system efficiency.
  6. Implement data security, governance, and compliance protocols based on industry regulations.
  7. Tune performance for complex queries and large data sets to ensure optimal utilization.
  8. Develop reusable components and utilities for accelerated development.
  9. Support production rollouts, troubleshoot incidents, and drive resolution.
  10. Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives such as white papers, technical discussions, and learning sessions.
